1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern the use of the services provided by Ravn ([Company name], hereinafter “Ravn”) via getravn.com and app.getravn.com. By registering or using the service you agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description

Ravn is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for error monitoring and performance analysis of software applications. The service includes:

• Receiving and storing error events and log messages via the Ingest API
• Automatic grouping of similar errors based on stacktrace fingerprints
• AI-powered root cause analysis for error groups
• Email notifications and webhook alerts
• Dashboard for managing projects, team members, and error data
• Python SDK and HTTP API for integrating into your own applications

3. Registration and Account

Using the service requires creating an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.

Ravn reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service for:

• Transmitting unlawful, discriminatory, or harassing content
• Circumventing security mechanisms or abusing the API
• Sending data for which you have no legal basis to process
• Automated bulk requests exceeding the contractually agreed limits
• Sharing API keys with unauthorised third parties

5. Privacy and Data Processing

If you process personal data of third parties (e.g. your end users) through the Ravn platform, you act as the data controller under the GDPR. Ravn acts as a data processor in this case. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is available on request.

6. Availability

We aim to provide high availability of the service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance windows will be announced in advance where possible. Liability for downtime or data loss is limited to cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

7. AI Analysis Budget

Each account includes a monthly budget for AI-powered error analyses (default: 100 analyses per month). Unused analyses expire at the end of each calendar month. The budget is shared across all projects within an account.

8. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time via the dashboard or by emailing support@getravn.com. After cancellation, your data will be deleted within 30 days. Ravn may discontinue the service with 30 days’ notice and will inform you by email.

9. Limitation of Liability

Ravn is only liable for damages caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Liability for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss is excluded to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Changes to These Terms

Ravn reserves the right to modify these Terms with 30 days’ notice. Changes will be communicated by email or via the dashboard. Continued use of the service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction is, to the extent permitted by law, [Company’s registered location].
